I love going to open air and farmer's markets. It's not just about the fresh produce but for me it's the photo opportunities. The colors and shapes offer a delight to a photographer's eye.

Benvenuto in Italia
Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 1:23 PMThe Tuscan countryside is a mosaic of wonderful colors. The vineyards, the olive trees, the Italian cypress trees all add to the splendors of the land. We're off on our journey, two weeks in Italy, painting, sketching, photographing and enjoying the gastronomic pleasures that are being offered to us. This view from the plane as we approach the Florence airport gives you an idea what awaits us.

Suspended Water
Friday, July 30, 2010 at 4:51 PMI love what cameras allow us to see. Stop action and slow motion features give us insights to the wonders of nature and other events. All those little droplets look like they're floating in air. I guess the are but they move so fast we don't get to see these little gems.
