Pretty in Pink

Peonies are a phenominal flower.  Loaded with petals, they explode when open into a ball of fluff.  They don't grow where I live but occasionally I can find them in the flower shops. I'll never forget the first time I saw one growing "au naturale", in a garden in the French countryside.  It was wonderful.
