Tea Anyone?

Monday, February 22, 2010

The teacup ride is one canrival ride I can pass on.  But this one, designed for the smaller set, has it's own pot of tea.  I thought it added a touch of whimsy to  the ride.

Let's Dance

Friday, April 17, 2009

I found these furry critters at a local carnival and thought they looked ready to do a chorus line.

The Zipper

Saturday, January 31, 2009

There's a small farm town about a one hour drive southeast from me, and today while out scouting for subjects to paint I came across this little carnival that was part of a "Tomato Festival". This contraption, which I'm certain would do a number to the contents of my stomach, is called the "Zipper". It was colorful enough, but the way the cages flip and turn while the big arm also flips and turns is much better appreciated from the ground.
