One Hot Canna

This canna lily is definitely a summer flower but the vibrant red against a dark green backgound really talks to me.  I love drama and this combo offers a lot of that.

Red Hot Cannas

I take my camera everywhere I go. You never know when a photo op will present itself. I was shopping the other day and as I was leaving the store spotted these red canna lilies. They normally aren't this red and that's what caught my eye.

Hot Pink & Sunny

Canna lilies come in a wide array of colors including some that have freckles. But these bright pink lovelies were just screaming to be photographed.

What are They?

I found these growing among canna lilies in the Canary Islands. I failed to check if they were part of the cannas or another plant. But they sure are interesting.

Freckles

Canna lilies come in a wide range of colors. From delicate pinks to deep reds and everything in between. I wonder if a flower artist came along with a paint brush and added the freckles. Personally, that's a lot of work!
