A Warm Bahama Beach

It started sprinkling tonight and the weather report for the next week doesn't look good.  Heavy rains and winds are predicted to make a big mess and for the golfers, make for miserable play in the Bob Hope golf tournament.  We need the rain but not a deluge in a short period of time.  So this gorgeous beach scene with white sand beaches and turquoise water makes me feel warmer.

Bahama Wings

Purple is my favorite color and when I saw this amphibian plane with purple engines I thought this was way to cool. But since I live in the desert an amphibian plane isn't very appropriate.

Shall We Kiss?

Several years ago I was in the Bahama Islands. While there, I visited the local botanical garden/zoo. It lays claim to having the only "flock" of trained flamingos. Well.... they did get them to do a few things, not exactly what I'd call tricks, but interesting nonetheless. I was able to capture these two in a heart shaped pose.
